Positive Dog Training School has been training dogs since 1986. Owned and operated by Joan Fetty, classes are taught with positive reinforcement,
praise, and showing the dog how to be successful. We do not believe in forceful negative correction that overwhelms and confuses the dog. The school has seen more then 20,000 dogs of all breeds and many students often return with second and even
third dogs renewing old friendships and enjoying more training with their canine friends. The goal of the school is for students and dogs to have fun whether it is formal obedience trials or family events focusing on making dog training a
happy experience for both handler and dog alike.
Classes are available for dogs aged 3 months and older held in beautiful Woodinville, Wa at an indoor training facility with most classes meeting 1 hour per week over 6 weeks. Our classes include beginning through advanced levels of obedience
and specialized training, which includes preparation for AKC, CKC and UKC obedience titles.
Positive Dog Training students and staff have earned hundreds of titles! Our various instructors have had experience in Obedience Trials, Tracking Tests, Confirmation, Championships, and events for Field, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility, Rally, Therapy Dog Certification, Freestyle, and Tracking.
Visitors are welcome to observe classes at any time!
